Butter is the herd queen and is my very first dairy goat! She has some outstanding Castle Rock genetics behind her and I absolutely love how her body looks. Her daughter scored VEEV 90 as a second freshener and took NDGA Junior Champion at the California State Fair in 2019. She has amazing body capacity and general appearance that I really love. She is a prime example of a feminine and dainty dairy goat doe. She could really use some improvement with her udder attachment and teat placement and I’m hoping to correct that in future breedings but the nice, large capacity is there! I really like her body structure and she seems to pass it on to all of her kids as well. Unfortunately, Butter’s udder has been coming in severely lopsided since her third freshening so she will not be taken to shows.

Vale came to us as a first freshener with her sweet little doeling. She has some great genetics behind her and I can’t wait to see how she turns out in the years to come. So far I can tell she’s got a long body and great body capacity. I like this doe’s mammary system a lot more than her overall body structure. She is not as long and smoothly blended as I like a doe to be and she has an off-putting top line. Luckily her top line has not been carrying on through her kids so far. She could have better rear udder attachment but other than that, her udders so far have been very likeable. She is a pretty flashy doe and she tends to have flashy kids as well!

Nell is by far the loudest goat on the farm but also one of the friendliest. She has great capacity and a wide barrel. Very uphill from the withers forward with nice, high head. Nice topline with a natural downslope of the rump which has caught the eye of a couple judges in the ring. She could really use some more dairy strength and angulation which will hopefully be corrected in future breedings. She has some amazing Curbstone Valley genetics and I’m excited to see what her first freshening will look like in the future!

Maggie has a lot of strong dairy genetics behind her and I’m excited to watch her grow! So far I can already tell her top line is a huge improvement over her dam and I can only hope she gets her udder. She’s also very wide and excels in body capacity with good brisket extension. Don’t be fooled by the lack of milk stars and LA on her sire’s side. Her SD has a very well balanced udder with correct and large teats and good attachment. She comes from amazing castle rock lineage including Castle Rock Guy Noir. Maggie comes from great udders on both sides and I’m excited to eventually see a ff udder from this doeling.
